The fact I didn’t get the service I came for. They put me and the stylist out because it was closing time which is at 5pm. The people who books the appointment does not consider time management they just book your appointment knowing the coloring & style you may get can be a long process. I had a 1pm appointment for hair bleach blonde all over coming from dark blk hair. I never got blow dried, trimmed nor styled I got put out w/ a wet head. No leave in conditioner or detangled. They charged me $90 for unfinished service. It was the worse experience I’ve ever encountered going to any salon/ school. My stylist was upset due to she don’t do business like that. Then the blonde I was goin for not the blonde I received. me and my stylist had an understanding about everything. I was goin for a lighter blonde I guess 10 bein the lightest. The manager or whoever he was kept telling her to add more toner which was 7 that gave me a more darker blonde. So I paid for products that I wasn’t pleased w/ & I made it clear to him. Due to my stylist a student so he wasn’t really listening to what she was saying or me as the paying customer. I’ll never be back for nothing else you have one time to leave me w/ unfinished business and I’m paying my money for it. Then he told me to come back to get the lighter blonde I want. Sir I’m never coming back It was really embarrassing. I gave one star for my stylist due to she does my hair outside of the school and before she was enrolled in the school. She graduates in Oct and I can’t wait.🤩 ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️Below⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ 1st pic with the product in my head is the blonde I wanted which me and my stylist had an understanding of. 2nd pic is what I left out w/ 4 wet twisted plaits it looks like it blowdryed however my hair is thick so you can’t tell unless you feel it. 3rd pic is once I got home to put leave in conditioner in my head still wet didn’t have heat protection I was too scared to blow dry due to it bleach color so it air dried. Others like the color however if I asked and paid for something I expect to receive what I asked for.

I had an appointment for highlights in Jessup on January 20,2023. I arrived and met a young lady named Hope. She was just the kindness and asked me several questions to confirm what I wanted to get done to my hair. She also made sure she discussed the process & steps she was going to take with her teacher. All of this was very informative and helped ease my mind ensuring there was a really good chance. I would get my desired outcome. All I can say is I'm super happy & greatly appreciative with the way my hair turned out. The colors of the highlights and how it blended so nicely after the trim. It's exactly what I've wanted and couldn't have asked for a better person to do my hair then Ms. Hope. That being said, I immediately set up another appointment with her next month in February. I'm so happy to return back to The Paul Mitchell after a few years. Thank you, Barbra Alcaraz

I needed a haircut like 3 days ago, so i called the school at 12, 1235 and 130pm only getting the answering machine (which said they closed at 5p). Called again at 233 to finally get a person who told me the same, 5pm. I drove 30 mins to get to the shop and stand in front of 2 ladies, neither of whom gave a greeting as sending a phone call between one of them and a stylist was more pressing. The one called to "see if they are accepting anymore people," even though I was told on two separate incidents they didn't close until 5. Asked with a smile, "Can you come back tues?"... Seriously?? My professional life has been customer service, so the 1 star is solely for lack of customer courtesy and professionalism..

My Experience at the Paul Mitichell school was amazing I love my stylist was Nicole she made me feel comfortable and I left my hair in her hands. If you go to the Paul Mitchell school ask for Nicole she will make you feel so comfortable she is a beautiful person and I made another appointment to come back next week. I have a new stylus.
